We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a thorough understanding of heavy-duty construction equipment mechanics. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal engine performance.
• Conduct engine repairs and tune-ups.
• Execute electrical and hydraulic repairs.
• Inspect and diagnose engine components thoroughly.
• Repair and replace fuel systems as needed.
• Carry out engine overhauls with precision.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• No nights or weekends

Experience Requirements:

• Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Required)
• Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

Location Requirements:

• Ability to Commute: Des Moines, IA 50313 (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: Preference for candidates who can relocate to Des Moines, IA 50313 before starting work.
• Work Location: In-person
